Followers are the cheapest number money can buy
Any number that goes up with money can also be manufactured with money. What cannot be manufactured is real views and real engagement, and that is exactly why the listing form in this section asks for the engagement rate and where the audience is, and shows both on the card. A page with a hundred thousand followers and under one percent engagement is close to worthless for advertising.
How to tell whether the followers are real
Ask the seller to open the internal stats live, in front of you, rather than sending a picture. Look at two things: the growth chart and the audience make-up. Stepped growth, meaning sudden jumps on the chart with flat stretches between them, almost always means bought followers. And an audience that is not where your customers are has no value for advertising in your language, however large the number; you see that in the audience and language breakdown.
The transfer, where most of the arguments happen
Do not transfer the account fully before the money has cleared, and change the recovery email and the phone number in that same session. As long as the old email is on the account, the seller can take it back whenever they choose. The password and the two-factor code are never exchanged inside a listing or in a first conversation; listings that break that rule get rejected here.
