RGB Rank Tracker

Track Your Site's Keyword Rankings on Google

Say you run an online kitchenware store and want to know, today, right now, where you rank on Google for "buy stainless steel pots" in your city, and where your competitor ranks. Search Console can't tell you that precisely; RGB Rank Tracker can, with daily history, competitors, and an archive that keeps the real Google result every single day.

  • No result personalization
  • Permanent data archive
  • Permanent free tier, no monthly subscription

Why Search Console Isn't Enough for Rank Tracking

"Average position" means nothing precise

Google Search Console gives you one average number per keyword over a 16-day window, a blend of mobile, desktop, different cities, and even searches unrelated to your keyword. That number is fine for a general report, but it can't answer "where do I rank today, in my city, on mobile."

It doesn't show your competitor

Search Console only sees your own site. You don't know whether your competitor climbed or you dropped, which site holds the top spot today, or whether you or a competitor owns the Featured Snippet. For real decisions, you need to see these.

Data is delayed and short-lived

Search Console data arrives with a few days' delay and gets purged from the dashboard after a while. If you want to see a keyword's six-month trend to know whether a content change actually worked, you're out of luck, unless you archived it elsewhere from day one.

Honestly, don't drop Search Console

Search Console is still the primary tool for indexing, technical errors, and real clicks/impressions, and Rank Tracker isn't a replacement for it. What we add is a precise, daily view of rank by location and device, something Search Console was never built for.

How the Keyword Rank Tracking Tool Works

Setting up Rank Tracker is three steps and takes just a few minutes:

1

Free check on this page

Try a domain and one keyword in the tool above and see its current rank. No commitment, one try is enough to get a feel for it.

2

One-page sign-up

If you liked it, create an account with your name, phone, and email on one page. The keyword you just checked is pre-filled in the next wizard step from the page address, no need to type it again.

3

Add keywords and see the history

Set your domain, city (or the whole country), and target device. The first three keywords on your first domain are always free (weekly check); the rest deduct from your wallet, at a frequency you choose, daily, every three days, weekly, or manual only. From tomorrow night, a rank chart, competitors, and daily history start building up in front of you.

Keyword Rank Checking by City

A keyword's rank in one city and another can be completely different; that's not a technical flaw, it's the nature of Google search.

For many phrases, especially ones with a local flavor, like "dental clinic" or "car dealership," Google personalizes results based on the user's location. There's also an important technical detail worth being honest about: Google's official advertising location database doesn't have Iranian city names; that's why tools like Rank Tracker (and its local competitors) pull each city's rank from that city's geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), not its name. The result you get is the same either way, that city's real rank, we're just being transparent about the technical method behind it.

One more thing every similar tool (Rank Tracker included) follows: free checks and regular checks only look at Google's first 30 results, not a hundred. If a keyword isn't in those 30, we show it as "30+," meaning we don't know the exact rank, but we know it's beyond page one and two. This limit has a real cost (every check deeper than that costs more from the data provider), and we'd rather be upfront about it than hide it.

31 major Iranian cities + the whole country

From Tehran and Mashhad to Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, and twenty-some other provincial capitals; or, if local flavor doesn't matter, pick nationwide rank instead.

Desktop, Android, and iOS

Mobile and desktop rank often differ because Google runs a mobile-first algorithm; track all three separately so you're not caught off guard.

Results with no personalization

What we send to Google is a neutral request with no browser history, exactly what any anonymous user in that city sees, not a result personalized just for you.

Competitor Tracking and Share of Voice (SOV)

Knowing your own rank is half the story; the other half is where your competitor stands.

When you add competitors to a domain, Rank Tracker extracts their rank for the same keywords from that same Google result it already pulled for you. That means adding a competitor costs you nothing extra, since the data is pulled from that same daily check; that's why Rank Tracker allows more competitors than local alternatives, without raising your wallet cost.

Alongside each keyword's individual rank, a Share of Voice metric is also calculated: out of all the keywords you're tracking, what percentage of the top spots do you hold versus each competitor. This gives you a quick, big-picture read on whether you're winning search over time or a competitor is pulling ahead, without having to compare dozens of individual rank rows one by one.

The Google Results Time Machine, Rank Tracker's Key Difference

Most rank-checking tools, including local alternatives, give you just one number: your rank, and maybe the URL that ranks. Rank Tracker goes a step further and archives the entire top-30 results for that day, not just your own row. That means you can go back to a specific date, say, the exact day a Google update rolled out, and see that day's entire results page again: which site climbed, which site dropped, which new domain broke into page one.

That means when a rank shifts overnight, instead of guessing, you pull up that day's archive and see exactly how the results page got shuffled, an analysis that's simply impossible with a single number alone.

Who Rank Tracker Is Built For

Online stores

You have dozens of product and category pages, each competing for different keywords. Daily tracking shows you which category is gaining ground and which needs more attention, before sales actually drop.

Local and service businesses

Clinics, law offices, training centers; places where your rank in your own city matters more than nationwide rank. City-level tracking shows you exactly where you stand within the geographic area where your real customers actually are.

Blogs and content sites

Every new post is an experiment. By tracking each post's target keyword from day one of publishing, you learn which topics actually deliver and which need a rewrite or more link building.

Rank Tracker Pricing: A Wallet, Not a Monthly Plan

RGB Rank Tracker has no plans or renewal cycles anymore. You top up your wallet and only pay for exactly what you use, every rank check, every tool run, deducts from it; nothing more, no monthly commitment. Each check's price is calculated from the real data cost we buy from the provider plus a transparent 100% margin, converted at the live dollar/USDT rate the moment you run it, the exact same pricing engine you see across all of RGB.ir.

An honest note about this change: the first version of Rank Tracker had fixed monthly plans, like most local alternatives. When we ran the numbers, the real cost of data from the international provider, especially for daily tracking and many competitors, outpaced what fixed plans charged; meaning the more active our users got, the more money we lost. The fix wasn't pulling a bigger number out of customers' pockets; it was making the real cost transparent. With a wallet, you pay exactly what you use, not a cent less, not a cent more to subsidize users who never touched their plan's ceiling. Say you only have one domain and five keywords that only need a weekly check, why should you pay for a plan built for a hundred daily keywords? In the wallet model, you don't.

Top up, pay only per check

Every time a keyword's rank is checked or a tool runs, the exact price at that moment is shown on screen and deducted from your wallet balance. There's no monthly invoice; if your balance runs out, checks simply pause, no service cutoff, no penalty.

Three keywords, free forever

On the first domain you register, up to three keywords stay free forever (weekly check, 30-result depth, exactly like paid keywords). That makes "permanent free tier" a real claim, not just a few trial days that get cut off later.

Trial gift credit

After verifying your email, a one-time

$0
gift credit is added to your wallet so you can try a few tools before topping up for real. It's a trial gift, not a promise of "unlimited free."

Estimated monthly cost: $1.08

Basis: one depth-30 check currently costs $0.0036 (based on the live dollar/USDT rate; this figure updates live as the rate changes). The first three free keywords aren't counted in this estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is keyword rank tracking, and how is it different from Search Console?
Keyword rank tracking means seeing your site's exact rank in Google's organic results for a specific phrase, in a specific city and device, on a specific day. Search Console gives you a general multi-day average; Rank Tracker gives you the precise daily rank, along with competitors and a full results archive.
Why does the rank I see myself on Google differ from Rank Tracker?
Because the result you see in your own browser is personalized, based on your search history, exact location, and even your Google account, since you visit your own site often. Rank Tracker pulls rank with a neutral, history-free request, exactly what an average anonymous user sees, and that number is more reliable for real decisions.
How often does the rank update?
The first three free keywords are always checked weekly. For the rest, you pick the frequency yourself per domain: daily (default, every night), every three days, weekly, or manual only via the "Update now" button. A higher frequency means a higher monthly wallet cost, the calculator above this section shows exactly how much.
What does "30+" next to a keyword mean?
It means that keyword wasn't found in Google's top 30 results (pages one and two). The default check depth is 30 results because a deeper check costs more from the Google data provider; if a keyword shows "30+," it's outside that range, not that it doesn't rank at all.
Can I see competitor ranks too?
Yes. By adding a competitor domain to any domain you track, their rank for the same keywords is automatically extracted from the same daily check, at no extra cost or separate check.
Why does a keyword's rank differ between one city and another?
For many phrases, Google adjusts results based on the user's location (especially for local businesses). Rank Tracker simulates this difference by pulling rank from each city's geographic coordinates, so you see that city's true rank.
What's the difference between mobile and desktop rank?
Google runs a mobile-first algorithm and sometimes mobile and desktop result order isn't identical. That's why you can track each keyword separately for desktop, Android, or iOS.
Is daily rank fluctuation normal?
Completely. A keyword bouncing up or down a position or two daily, even with no change to your site, is normal, Google constantly tests and updates. Real concern kicks in when there's a stable downward trend over several weeks, not a single day's fluctuation.
If my wallet balance runs out, does my history data get lost?
No. Check history and the results archive are kept forever; only new checks for wallet-based keywords (not the three free ones) pause until you top up. You'll see a "low balance" tag next to that keyword and get a reminder email; no data is ever deleted.
What does Rank Tracker cost?
There's no monthly or annual subscription. You top up your wallet, and every rank check or tool run deducts from it at that exact moment, at a transparent price (real data cost plus a fixed margin); the table above and this page's calculator show the exact price. For very high usage or enterprise needs, contact us to discuss volume pricing.
Why did you drop the monthly subscription for a wallet?
Because a fixed monthly rate either lost us money (for active users) or overcharged you (for light users). With a wallet, everyone pays exactly what they actually use, a small domain with five keywords checked weekly costs about that small amount, not the price of a plan built for a hundred daily keywords.
Do I need to know code or an API to use it?
No, the dashboard is entirely visual, no technical knowledge required.
